What does "ERROR: Received interrupt signal(2)" mean?

I've only encountered this error once. A client was using Urchin on Solaris. There were getting the following error:

To resolve this issue we turned on parallel log tracking and the error went away. We're not 100% sure why the error occurred, but it worked.
