Urchin Q and A: Using 'convert-u5data' Script

Question: We are having a lot of trouble trying to convert data from Urchin5 to
Urchin6. The convert-u5data barely works, and when it does, we do not
get all of our date. For example, we have a profile that goes back to
Dec. 2005 in Urchin5, and after running this tool, we have data only
going back to Sep. 2007. Also, we get "DB is locked - run sanitizer." a
lot. Is there a simplified way of doing this? We've tried copying over
the report folder but it did not work either.

Answer: The migration script 'convert-u5data' errors out on archived files. This is why you're not seeing all of your data converted over to Urchin 6. You have to unpack and delete each/every archive, then run the migration script.
