Question:
Can we export Urchin 6 profile configuration settings for future use? If Yes, how?
Answer:
Yes, you may export Urchin 6 configuration settings for future use. Urchin ships with a number of utility programs that are used for diagnostic and configuration purposes. These utilities are located in the util directory of your Urchin distribution.
The 'uconf-export' utility outputs the Urchin configuration data into an external flat file (in a human-readable format). Values in this file can be edited. (All configuration information may even be created from scratch.) This allows you to export/import Urchin configuration from one system to another, or migrate to newer versions of Urchin.
